Kudos to Green Cream, Kevin & Cosmeticville

Kudos to Green Cream, Kevin and to my supplier, Cosmeticville!!

I am (was!) a huge skeptic when it comes to beauty/skincare products and as Kevin knows (from prior posts) I am an ex-Cancerchick (Stage IV Melanoma) and my skin is no longer just my topcoat to be ignored.

I have taken Kevin's advice (thank you!!) and changed from using the newest/most media-hyped skincare line of the month, spending hundreds of dollars and lugging dozens of products on international trips. You know you've been duped by the industry when the most coveted items in your luggage/carry ons are your skin potions, right?

Anyway, I have found a great system of products and probably spend less than I've ever done in my whole life. I am blonde, blue-eyed, 47 (gulp!) with fair to medium, normal skin, slight forehead/outer-eye wrinkles (diminishing since GC!) and can usually pass for my early 30s. I even got carded at the supermarket from an obviously blind as a bat cashier.

AM
Cleanse - pHisoderm
Exfoliate - PC 8% AHA Gel
Moisturize - Cetaphil
Sunblock - Elta MD UV Physical SPF 41
Or use Patricia Wexler's Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 for combined moisture & sunblock

PM
Cleanse - pHisoderm
Exfoliate - Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish Scrub (any thoughts on changing from the AHA gel AM & this PM to just the BHA gel?? I don't get blemishes, but like the deep cleansing)
Treat - Green Cream Level 9 (just graduated from Level 6 with no problem)
Moisturize - Cetaphil

I wonder if there should be a thread just for regimens?

I also have to compliment and highly recommend Cosmeticville as one of the best sources for Green Cream. They ship all full size GC for free via priority mail. Their customer service is the best! I recently reordered my GC from them and didn't receive it in the regularly ultra-quick manner. The USPS claimed it was delivered, yet it wasn't (and basically claimed it wasn't insured for replacement so wouldn't do a thing even though it was their fault). As soon as there was a delay I contacted Cosmeticville and they were in constant instant contact with me (replying to emails within minutes) until they confirmed I received a replacement for the lost package. I received this within a few days along with the regular samples they include with each order. I will continue to use them as my GC source and would encourage anyone looking for a reliable supplier to consider them.

I am extremely happy!!

Thanks, Kevin! What are your thoughts on the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish Scrub vs. a BHA (to replace the scrub and AHA)? Or should I just leave things alone while they're working?

BTW, I noticed my sister's skin over Christmas - she's a little over 3 years younger. Way more small lines, wrinkles around eyes, forehead, mouth, etc. Same DNA & childhood environment, but doesn't wear sunscreen or use retinol-based skincare. I'm trying to convert her!

F1, my memory may be failing, but I think that Neutrogena product has a pretty strong fragrance. I'm not a big fan of fragrances. I am also a big fan of not changing things if they are working. :D
