GreenCream for acne scars treatment

Postby slyphnier on Tue Mar 09, 2010 2:38 pm

hello i am new to this forum

i read that GreenCream can also help improve acne scars
while i still new to green cream (i am on 3rd bottle of GreenCream lv.6)
i use it every night and i am using BHA on the morning
i see some improvement in my skin also in the scar + mild exfoliate
but i wanna know, do green cream can keep improving my skin look ?
i mean if i keep using greencream, it is possible to keep improving in diminishing the scars?

or do you suggest i using more strong peeling stuff ? ...
i ever tried mederma gel... but somehow i feel it didnt help much with the scars
indeed it exfoliate my skin, but it also make my skin feel dry, thus making the scars looks more visible

i didnt like in putting various stuff in my face, as my face acne-prone
so if u think that by using green cream alone can improve my skin over time
i think i will just be patient with green cream

also i want to ask regarding light, this question may sound dumb, but i kinda curious how sensitive green cream are, i read greencream easily deactivated by light, but no one ever mention how sensitive it is, do room light also deactivate greencream ? or its more like UV light (that from sun) ?

thanks in advance

Slyphnier, you have probably reached the point where things will improve some, but using the bha and retinoid will help keep your scars from coming back!

I would suggest try more aggressive procedures like a deep tissue chemical peel or laser treatment that you can get from a skin care professional.

The light question is not dumb at all. Retinoids do break down when the come in contact with the light. However, once it is absorbed into the skin (after 15 to 20 minutes) it will quit being susceptible to light degradation. All light will break down a retinoids.
